HIV and STD Testing and Counseling

HIV TestingIn Colorado, African-Americans shoulder a disproportionate share of HIV cases. Although we comprise only 3.8% of the population, we account for over 20% of new HIV infections. It's important to know your status and the status of your partner. Free, confidential HIV testing is available at our office, 1475 Lima Street, Aurora, CO 80010 for all. We respect your privacy and we do not judge you. HIV testing is provided for individuals who feel that they have engaged in activities that put them at risk for HIV, including unprotected sex with someone they know or suspect is HIV positive or whose HIV status is unknown; unprotected sex with a man who has sex with men or with someone who injects drugs; or sharing blood through tattooing, body piercing or sharing injection drugs works.

HIV TestingFree, confidential STD testing for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea are provided at our office for all during the same hours as HIV testing. STD testing is provided in collaboration with Denver Public Health. If you test positive for an STD, your treatment will be provided free at Denver Public Health's STD clinic.

Testing is provided free of charge every Monday and Thursday from 10 am to 5 pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 am to 3 pm. Testing is available in Spanish upon request. HIV testing is confidential and Rapid with results in 20 minutes. If STD results for Chlamydia or Gonorrhea are positive, treatment is free at Denver Health.
