In Colorado, African-Americans shoulder a disproportionate
share of HIV cases. Although we comprise only 3.8% of the population,
we account for over 20% of new HIV infections. It's important to
know your status and the status of your partner. Free, confidential
HIV testing is available at our office, 1475 Lima Street, Aurora, CO 80010. We respect your privacy and we do not judge you.
HIV testing is provided for individuals who feel that they have
engaged in activities that put them at risk for HIV, including unprotected
sex with someone they know or suspect is HIV positive or whose HIV
status is unknown; unprotected sex with a man who has sex with men
or with someone who injects drugs; or sharing blood through tattooing,
body piercing or sharing injection drugs works.
